Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić stated today in Abu Dhabi that Serbia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are further expanding their relations and cooperation in all areas.

During talks with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Dačić emphasized that the two countries enjoy strong, friendly relations at a very high level, which is confirmed by the strategic partnership and cooperation in many areas of common interest.

Dačić and Al Nahyan agreed that police cooperation should accompany bilateral relations at a strategic level and should therefore be further intensified in the coming period, particularly in the areas of combating organized crime, money laundering, high-tech crime, human trafficking, terrorism, drug trafficking, and special forces.

Furthermore, the PPP Summit Forum in Belgrade in May 2025 was another success, recognizing Serbia as a regional leader in terms of the number and quality of public-private partnerships. Numerous business delegations from various countries participated, and I am proud to have played a significant role in this. Among others, my investors from the G7 consortium from the Arab region, as well as White Capital, attended the event to discuss potential collaborations.
