Geopolitical Watershed: Where Will Your Assets (and Your Life) Be Safe Tomorrow?
Geopolitical Watershed: Where Will Your Assets (and Your Life) Be Safe Tomorrow?

A Commentary by Uwe Zirbes Special Envoy and Senior Board Advisor of TCME Worldwide Group
The world as we knew it no longer exists. While the mainstream and established media feed us reports that I must plainly describe as “nonsense,” a tectonic shift in power is taking place in the background. Anyone following the analyses of experts like Markus Krall, Scott Ritter, or Douglas Macgregor recognizes the pattern: the US empire is faltering, the dollar as a reserve currency is eroding, and the BRICS nations are forming a new world order that will push the West into insignificance.
We are facing a global “World Reset.” Before the dust settles, we will witness hostilities that go far beyond regional conflicts. Whether in the Middle East, where Israel is pulling the USA into the abyss, or in the Pacific between China and the USA—the military and economic map is being redrawn. Europe? In this game, it is militarily so insignificant that it will hardly carry any weight.
In my more than thirty years of experience as an advisor to international decision-makers and high-net-worth individuals, the most frequently asked question is no longer “How do I increase my capital?” but rather: “Where will I be safe when the system collapses?”
The Illusion of Island Paradises
Many clients look toward the Caribbean, such as Dominica. Let’s speak openly: What is the use of a passport from a small island where every villa must be reinforced with bars on the windows against criminals? Who wants to spend their years in a golden cage while the social order crumbles around them? Such locations may serve as purely bureaucratic tools for short-term freedom of movement, but as long-term residences for someone seeking true sovereignty and quality of life, they are insufficient.
Strategic Location Selection in the Era of Upheaval
When we talk about real strategy, we must look where geopolitical autarky meets real security. In my consulting, I am currently focusing on locations that can physically and economically survive the “World Reset”:
- Montenegro: A strategic anchor point in Europe. It is small, topographically protected, and offers a necessary distance from Brussels’ centralism. Here, a natural security still prevails that does not require bars on the windows.
- Thailand: The gateway to the ASEAN region and thus to the direct sphere of influence of the new world powers. It offers an excellent infrastructure for those who want to shift the focus of their activities to the East, away from the sinking ship of the old hegemony.
- Vanuatu: The option for maximum geographical distance. If the Northern Hemisphere falls into large-scale instability, the South Pacific is the last safe haven outside the line of fire.
- Serbia: An often-underestimated bridgehead. Anyone who understands the strength of the BRICS nations recognizes in Serbia a country that does not bow to bloc dictates and possesses high resilience in energy and basic supply sectors.
Conclusion: Sovereignty is No Coincidence
A “World Reset” does not wait for latecomers. True sovereignty today means creating redundancy. Anyone who holds only one residence and one citizenship is a prisoner of coming events. My strategy is clear: position yourself in countries that are either too small to be a target or clever enough to align themselves with the new centers of power.
As an advisor, I call things by their name. The time for diplomatic sugarcoating is over—now only strategic reality counts.
