Why do the Chinese love the Government?

Why do the Chinese love the Government?

How can the 95.5% of Chinese love their government when the rest of the world sees the CCP and Xi Jinping as an extreme threat to the world? And how can Russians support Putin with over 80% approval when he is considered “the Great Satan”?

Quite simply, no one has run a country better and driven growth forward in recent years than these leaders.

Most Americans believe that the US represents everything good in the world and is the best hope for all of humanity.

Yet 60% of the world’s population, especially in developing countries and the BRICS countries, believe that the US is evil. It foments wars and revolutions and kills countless innocent people just to stay on top at the expense of everyone else, and doesn’t give a damn about anyone else.

If you live in the US or a G7 country and your only source of news is the Western media, you are unlikely to hear this view. Moreover, you hardly know what the majority of the populations of the Global South/BRICS countries think about the West.

Just remember: Whatever you hear about China in the Western media, people in the Global South think the same about the West.

A few years ago, China was confronted with the heavy-handed dictator (we all know who I’m talking about…lol) of a very powerful nation and hit with a barrage of unfounded trade embargoes.

We all know who the winner of that trade war was.

I can only commend President Xi for how calmly he handled this dilemma and got his people out of this mess. Frankly, most presidents would have given in, lost their composure and mishandled the dilemma/situation.

Second, about two years ago, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region was rocked by violent protesters. Protesters even went so far as to chant and wave the flag of the former colonial master. I mean, how unpatriotic can you be?? (PS: I respect everyone’s right to protest, but waving the flag of a colonial power? Come on. That’s really bad taste. Try waving the apartheid flag in South Africa or the Belgian flag in Congo and see how people will applaud you…lol).

It’s not my job to take sides. However, in my view, China handled the situation very carefully and prudently, causing minimal collateral damage, i.e. no death penalty and no harsh tactics.

I wish China-Hong Kong relations all the best. But for now, I must give the credit to President Xi for appeasing and overcoming his loud and brash opposition.

In my view, President Xi, with the support of his party, has done a good and commendable job in his fight against poverty (anyone who has ever lived in poverty understands the relevance of this program), in his fight against corruption (African leaders, please take notes…lol) and in implementing his program to transform China into a high-income economy.

China is also developing through his visionary leadership through pure strategy and hard work, showing all developing countries that it is indeed possible!

By definition, a leader is someone who sees how things can be improved and who leads people to work towards that better vision.

President Xi has taken up the baton and continued the unfinished work of visionary leaders of the past such as Chairman Mao, Jiang Zemin and Deng Xiaoping.

I firmly believe that once the dust of the pandemic settles, China will achieve its goal of regaining the top spot and finally completely reversing the loss of face caused by the century of humiliation.

As far as I know, the countries that make up the US and co. make up less than 16% of the world’s population. 16% is far from half! Even Africa’s population is larger! And Africans generally love Xi and hate the US.

The Chinese government cares about the people.

Here’s an example.

Massive earthquake in Sichuan. Within hours, thousands of PLA soldiers arrive to find survivors and provide aid. The Prime Minister personally oversees this operation. Within days, a tent city is set up to house the homeless. Food and daily necessities are distributed.

Within two years, everything was rebuilt.

Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005. 80% of the city was flooded. Relief was slow and disorganized. The reconstruction plan was approved in 2009. But not much has happened so far. 19 years later…

The Chinese, like the Russians, judge their politicians by their performance and the fulfillment of their promises. Given the development of both states in the last few decades, there is no reason for people not to love their politicians.

Realistically, those who perceive Mr. Xi and the CCP or Mr. Putin as a threat are the losers and failures in the US because they have easy access to the fake news industrial propaganda machine to demonize China. Only the gullible Americans get carried away by this toxic disinformation and malicious propaganda.

Putin, on the other hand, was one of the most successful politicians who saved Russia from collapse under the illegal sanctions of the US and its allies. For the Russians and the leaders of developing countries around the world, he is the hero.
